  • LECTURE: Discover the hidden triggers of neck and back pain

What your neck and back pain are trying to tell you...

Does that sound familiar? You sit at your desk just a little too long, let off steam in the garden, or lift something incorrectly... and there's that neck or back pain again. We often hope it's just temporary. Take a rest, do some stretching, take a painkiller...

Maybe the pain will go away on its own. But what if the symptoms keep coming back? What if they slowly become your new normal?

During this interactive lecture, chiropractor Anneke Verbeeck takes you behind the scenes of neck and back complaints. You will discover why pain rarely arises out of nowhere. Stress, sleep, movement, compensatory patterns, and small daily habits play a much larger role than most people realize.

You immediately see why treating symptoms is often insufficient, what your body's signals are really trying to tell you, and how you can strengthen the health of your neck and back yourself.

No dry theory, but a lighthearted mix of science, practical examples, simple exercises, and handy tips you can apply immediately.

After this lecture, you will look at your body with different eyes. You will go home with new insights and concrete tools to take control of your neck and back health yourself.

For everyone who not only wants less pain, but wants to understand how to build a strong, resilient back for the long term.

  • LECTURE: Who is behind the wheel of your neck and back pain?

We live on autopilot 90% of the day. And that is just as well!

Thinking about every decision is simply not feasible for our cognitive brain. It would be far too time-consuming. That is why we fall back on automatisms, on routines, on habits. That is completely normal.

The unconscious guidance from our primal brain is therefore a useful, energy-saving measure for our body. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to occasionally pause and reflect on these automatic responses. Are they functioning properly? Are they taking us where we want to be? Or are they sabotaging us without our knowledge?

During this lecture, we shine a light behind the scenes of our brain. We discover unconscious patterns and learn how to adjust them in time.

  • LECTURE: Mens sana in corpore sano: a healthy mind, a healthy back

Can you think yourself sick? Does an optimistic attitude to life actually have a positive effect on your well-being? And how strong is the connection between mental and physical resilience?

We all know the famous Latin saying "Mens sana in corpore sano" – a healthy mind in a healthy body. But is this merely a nice saying, or is there a deeper truth behind it?

During this captivating lecture, we explore the fascinating interplay between body and mind. What do we know today, based on scientific research, about the influence of our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs on our physical health?

In addition to these insights, you will also be provided with practical tools to apply the knowledge from the lecture to your daily life. We will examine how stress, tension, thoughts, and emotions can play a role in neck and back complaints, and which simple strategies can contribute to a healthy neck, a strong back, and greater overall well-being.

Discover what science teaches us about these intriguing questions and go home with concrete tips to actively get to work on a healthier body and a healthier mind.

SPONTANEOUS REACTIONS AFTER MY LECTURES

You have a pleasant narrative voice.

I could keep listening to you for hours.

That is quite different from the previous lecture we heard about back problems.

Thank you, I finally understand which glass I was still overlooking.

And I know what I can change about it!

The exercises are indeed very easy to do at home.

I'm going to keep doing them!

Formulas 2026

I really love giving lectures.

But I don't do that just for my own pleasure.

I am doing that because I have a very important story to tell you. A story that you probably haven't heard very often.

For me, therefore, a lecture is only truly successful when I see that I have lit a light in your eyes and when I feel that I have lit a little flame within you, because you suddenly realize: "That's it! That is the missing puzzle piece I needed. And now I know what I have to do and I can't wait to get started."

That. Exactly that. That is why I really enjoy giving lectures.
